The Military Wives Choirs Foundation

The Military Wives Choirs is a charity supporting women impacted by their military connections through the medium of choral singing in a network of local choirs, and with the opportunity to participate in national events.

About The Military Wives Choirs Foundation

The Military Wives Choirs is a community of almost 2,000 women in 70 choirs across the UK and internationally. They come together to celebrate a love of singing and a communal understanding that comes from their members’ shared experiences of the armed forces.

They welcome all women whose lives are currently impacted by their military connection.

Their objectives are to reduce social isolation and to provide personal wellbeing and empowerment to their members through performance, training and development opportunities. They aim to achieve this through an extensive rehearsal and performance programme, as well as masterclasses, conferences and skills development activities.

Membership is audition-free, and no previous experience or expertise is required.
