Visas
The British Embassy in Greece does not deal with visa enquiries as this service is now provided by Teleperformance company.
All applications and enquiries for visas and visa appointments must be made in advance online
If you have an appointment for Visa processing, the Teleperformance Visa Application Centre is located at Europa Plaza, Thisseos Avenue 330, Kalithea, GR176 75, Athens.

Getting to the embassy
By underground: Take the Egaleo-Airport metro line to Evangelismos station. Cross Vas. Sofias Avenue at the Rizari Street traffic lights.
By public transport - bus, trolley bus: There are lots of options available to you. The bus stop again is Evangelismos.
By car: Please note that it is not possible to reach the embassy entrance by car or to park in the area immediately around the Embassy. Several parking facilities are available close-by.
Security
Visitors to the embassy should, where possible, make an appointment in advance. If you would like information on a particular subject or require contact with one of our staff members, please call the embassy switchboard to make the necessary arrangements.
For security reasons, please be aware that photo ID will be required. Additionally, if your visit requires entry into the embassy beyond the lobby, mobile telephones and all other electronic devices must be switched off and left with the front desk and your photo ID will be exchanged for a visitors pass. They will be returned to you when you leave.
Disabled access
We are keen to ensure that our buildings and services are fully accessible to disabled members of the public.
General physical access
Entrance - the main reception area and Consular/Visa section are clear and unobstructed, although some corridors may require some manoeuvring. A member of staff is available to assist. A lift provides access to the upper floors of the embassy building. Lift entrance width provides standard accessibility for wheelchair users.
- toilets - wheelchair access facilities are available on the ground floor
- floor coverings are safe and even
- handrails are not currently provided in the main part of the embassy
- doors, except on the main entrances and fire doors are easily accessible to all users
- lighting throughout the embassy is of a high standard
- during an emergency or an evacuation of the building help will be provided by a member of staff
- intercoms are located at the entrance and are reasonably accessible to wheelchair users
- there is no parking facility at the embassy
Access for visually-impaired visitors
Internationally recognised fire and exit signs are located throughout the building. There are currently none in Braille. Guide dogs are most welcome, but some notice of a visit would be appreciated.
Access for deaf and hard of hearing visitors
Hearing dogs are most welcome but some notice of the visit would be appreciated.
Minicom and textphones are not currently available.
We regret that there are currently no members of staff with a knowledge of sign language.
