Working for British High Commission Dar es Salaam

General information

Working at the British High Commission offers a unique and rewarding opportunity to grow professionally while collaborating with a talented group of individuals.

The British High Commission does not appoint any agents to process job applications or arrange interviews and expects no fees to be paid to anyone. Any irregularities should be reported by email to [email protected].

Eligibility and Selection process

Our job opportunities are open to Tanzanian nationals and non-Tanzanian nationals who hold a work permit to work in Tanzania.

Selection is based on the competencies and skills demonstrated by applicants in their applications.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to an interview. All interviews are conducted in English. For some posts, candidates will be required to attend an assessment centre. The assessment centre is a process which complements the panel interview system whereby we try to identify whether candidates have the personal traits and characteristics most suited to the post.

All interviewed candidates will be contacted after interview to inform them whether or not they have been successful.
