Details
This call is specifically seeking projects to offer the following activities in the Leeds City Region LEP Area:
a) Activities to encourage people to take up high level education and training, particularly in subject areas relevant to the priority sectors of Leeds City Region and aligned with evidenced skills shortages including access and taster programmes to increase the participation of particular groups (e.g. female take-up of STEM provision);
b) Activities to improve the employability of people working towards higher level qualifications to enhance retention and attainment;
c) Supporting individuals from the most disadvantaged backgrounds in accessing and participating in high level education and training, supporting them to progress into/in work e.g. through the delivery of outreach activity including taster courses to disadvantaged groups, participation in summer schools or work-based access course delivery;
Consortia/Partnership Applications
Applications are encouraged from consortia or other similar types of partnership arrangements. In each such case the application must be submitted by a lead organisation on behalf of the partnership/consortia and the lead applicant must have the financial capacity to meet the required Due Diligence criteria.

The project must cover the Leeds City Region LEP Area.
Value
Approximately £3.0m of funding is available.
Deadlines
Full application deadline: 27th May 2019
Completion date
The project must be completed no later than 3 years and 6 months after the proposed start date.
