Call for evidence description

This user engagement exercise seeks feedback on the future of the digital elements of Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Participation Survey and a proposal for collecting new Department for Science, Innovation and Technology (DSIT) public engagement data. The purpose of introducing this new product is to better understand how the public engages with DSIT policy areas, including the digital elements from the DCMS Participation Survey. This will help DSIT tailor its policies and initiatives to better meet the needs and expectations of citizens.

As part of this, we are proposing that this new product could adopt the digital elements of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) Participation Survey. These are set to be discontinued from 2025/26, following responsibility for digital policy transferring to DSIT in 2023.

Feedback received through this user engagement exercise will be used to inform the scope and implementation of this new product.

To participate in this exercise please read the user engagement exercise document and then complete the online questionnaire.
