CDE Innovation Network event: 17 November 2016, London

The Centre for Defence Enterprise (CDE) is holding a networking event for science and technology providers in London on 17 November 2016

Registration is now open. It closes on 14 November 2016 at 5pm.

The event is taking place at the Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London.

Jim Pennycook, Head of Operations at CDE, will introduce CDE and give an overview of proof-of-concept research funding opportunities for innovative science and technology providers. There will also be an update on the Defence and Security Accelerator.

Technical experts from Dstl (the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory) will provide specific information about the themed competition: ‘the future of aviation security’. This competition has up to £1 million available for fully funded phase-1 projects.

Bruce Hardie, CDE Technology Manager will brief on what CDE is all about, our funding opportunities and how to work with us.

In addition, Bruce will talk about how to create a great CDE proposal for CDE funding.

Attendees will be able to book a face-to-face meeting with CDE and Dstl subject matter experts to discuss potential proposals to the ‘the future of aviation security’ themed competition

There’ll be networking opportunities with other potential bidders, current Dstl suppliers, CDE, Dstl and military experts.
