Details

To make sure the national tariff acts in the best interest of patients, Monitor and NHS England asked for your views on ‘currency design and relative prices’. This document explains some of our proposals for the 2016/17 national tariff.

The impact assessment provides Monitor’s preliminary quantitative assessment of the impact that these policies may have on patients, providers and commissioners. It compares what the NHS would look like if we implemented these policies, with what it looks like now.

These annexes provide more detail on the currency design and relatives prices proposals, including draft relative prices.

The deadline for responses was midday, Monday 14 September 2015.

Thank you to everyone who responded. Your feedback will help to shape the final proposals that are subject to statutory consultation.
