Details
The measures on extradition proposed in Part 12 of the Act are designed to improve the efficiency of the operation of the Extradition Act 2003 and follow from a review of the UK’s extradition arrangements by Rt. Hon Sir Scott Baker. In addition, it includes changes to the operation of the European Arrest Warrant to provide better safeguards for those, particularly UK citizens, who are subject to EAWs.
