Details

The previous government established the working group on condition information in the home buying and selling process to look at the issues around:

  • consumer demand for property condition information
  • how best to deliver such information to consumers
  • how to involve Home Inspectors
  • the role of the property industry in taking this forward

To assist in developing an evidence base for the working group, Ipsos MORI was commissioned to conduct a short research exercise looking at the role of property condition information in the home buying and selling process. Their 3 reports along with the final report of the working group are available to download.
