Details

The last review by the industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) of Epicondylitis and its relationship to work was done in 2006. Findings were published in the command paper Work-related upper limb disorders: IIAC report.

Having now considered the growing body of evidence since then, the council was unable to find evidence of a consistency which was able to support adding any specific occupational exposure to the list of prescribed diseases for which Industrial Injuries Disablemant Benefit is paid.

The council encourages further research on work and epicondylitis and would be pleased to receive fresh evidence.
