Details

In July 2017, Good work: the Taylor review of modern working practices was published, which included 53 recommendations. The review considered a range of issues, including the implications of new forms of work, the rise of digital platforms and the impact of new working models on employee and worker rights, responsibilities, freedoms and obligations.

This publication sets out the government’s response to the review and plan of action for taking forward the recommendations.

Alongside the government response we held 4 consultations on key areas covered by the review:

A summary of the responses to the first 3 of these consultations is available above, and we have published a full set of responses on each of the consultation pages.

The Good Work Plan published December 2018, sets out our vision for the future of the UK Labour Market and draws on the feedback from these consultations.
