Details

This document has been published as part of the HS2 Phase One environmental statement for the route between London and the West Midlands. The environmental statement was produced to accompany the HS2 Phase One hybrid Bill.

This report contains an assessment of additional or new significant environmental effects which could result from a change in alignment of the route within the statutory limits of deviation.

The works for HS2 Phase One have defined limits of deviation which are shown on the Parliamentary plans and sections, and described in the Bill. The limits of deviation enable HS2 Phase One to be moved slightly (vertically or horizontally) from the centre line of the route, as may be required following detailed design.
