Details

The JSA sanctions early warning trial tested the impact of an extended period (14 days) for the claimant to provide evidence to support compliance where a sanction was potentially about to be applied.

The fieldwork for the trial ran from April 2016 to September 2016 during which 6,500 sanction referrals went through the trial process. Of those claimants who received a sanctions warning letter, this analysis looks at the amount and impact of evidence, provided by the claimant, during the additional 14 days.
