This statement by the Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants (COMEAP) updated earlier advice (2009 and 2010 reports) on how to estimate mortality associated with long-term average concentrations of particulate air pollution. It has now been superseded by an updated statement published in March 2022.
