Details

This statement by the Committee on the Medical Effects of Air Pollutants (COMEAP) updates earlier advice (1998 report and 2001 statement) on how to estimate respiratory and cardiovascular hospital admissions associated with short-term exposures to nitrogen dioxide (NO2) and particulate air pollution (PM). Recommendations for quantifying hospital admissions associated with ozone (2015 report) remain unchanged.
