Details
Defra introduced flood and coastal resilience partnership funding in 2011 and updated it in 2020.
The aim of the partnership funding policy is to allow FCERM projects to share the costs using national and local sources of funding.
Use the partnership funding calculator to work out how much GIA funding your FCERM project is eligible for and how much partnership contributions you will need.
You’ll need information on your project costs, benefits and outcomes (such as households protected) to fill out the calculator. The calculator uses this information, along with tariffs agreed with Defra, to calculate a partnership funding score and the project’s funding eligibility.
You should read the guidance calculate GIA funding for FCERM projects 2020 before filling out the calculator.
This version replaces version 8 of the calculator published in 2014.
