Details

This calculator has been replaced. If your project started after 1 April 2021 you should use the partnership funding calculator 2020 for FCERM grant-in-aid. If your project started before 1 April 2021 you may need to use the original calculator on this page. The transition arrangements will help you to decide.

Defra introduced flood and coastal resilience partnership funding in 2011 and updated it in 2020.

The aim of the partnership funding policy is to allow FCERM projects to share the costs using national and local sources of funding.

Use this calculator to work out how much GIA funding your FCERM project was eligible for between April 2015 and March 2021 and how much partnership contributions you needed.

It calculates GIA using the tariffs and outcomes measures agreed with Defra and the specific benefits, estimated costs and proposed financial contributions of an FCERM project.
