Regulation 13A of the ‘Conduct Regulations’ (Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003) introduces a requirement to provide a ‘Key information document’ for agency workers.
The new regulation comes into effect from 6 April 2020. After this date all new agency workers must be given a ‘Key information document’ before agreeing terms with an employment business.
This guidance is to help employment businesses comply with the regulations. It may also be useful for:
- hirers
- intermediary or umbrella companies in the recruitment supply chain
- agency workers
Employment businesses can download the blank ‘Key information documents’ and adapt as necessary.
