Details

This note aims to help departments address the uncertainties and potential impacts of Covid-19 restrictions in their assessments of the impact of regulatory proposals. The note outlines effects on data availability/quality and analytical uncertainty in regulatory impact assessments (IAs). It also discusses how to take account of short to medium and possible longer-term, structural impacts of Covid-19 restrictions in IAs.
