Details

When referred to in an environmental permit these rules will allow the operator to operate one or more Tranche B Specified Generators which are natural gas fired engines or boilers which are CHPs. The generator may be older and cannot meet new plant emission standards. The individual unit capacity is <1-1.3MWth and the total is < 1.3MWth at the specified location which may be in urban areas where background NO2 is high.

Applies to Specified Generators burning only natural gas.
