Details

This was caused by a problem with one of the underlying datasets which the Universal Credit claims series is calculated from. This resulted in some claims not being counted during processing. The issue has now been resolved.

The total number of claims made between 13 January and 14 September 2017 has been revised upwards by 41,000. This is an increase of 8% from the previously published figures over the same period.
