Details

Universal Credit payment advances are interest free advances of benefit for those who need financial help during the transition to Universal Credit or whilst in receipt of Universal Credit payment advances.

Claimants can apply for an advance of benefit subject to satisfying the eligibility criteria and these are then repaid over an agreed period as the claim progresses.
