Details

This release provides information on further education activity funded by the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) for adult benefit claimants in England. It uses data from the Department for Education (DfE), the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), and HM Revenue and Customs.

Due to technical difficulties during the data transfer process between DfE and DWP it has not been possible to produce the 2015 to 2016 statistics on the proportion of benefit claimants undertaking training in time for the pre-announced publication date of the end of 2017. We will release these statistics in 2018.
